Flaka Lecture - ABK Camp June 2011

Looking forward for the regular season to begin. Here's something to think about in the meantime.

Key Points:
  • Carve downwind behind a piece of chop and time stall of sail.
  • Good laydown posture (body forward,  head over mast base, weight on toes/front foot, oversheet).
  • Flatten board, load board over chop (board will feel squirrely).
  • As nose goes over the chop,  oversheet and coil back, throw boom/mast toward nose of board (forward/leeward)
  • Don't push with back hand( keep sheeted in)
